Survey about access to physical activity programs for Seniors
Survey about access to physical activity programs for Seniors
Older adults aged 50+, caregivers, and healthcare providers across British Columbia were invited to take part in an important survey about access to physical activity programs.
This survey was part of a larger project focused on understanding how people discover, navigate, and take part in physical activity opportunities in their communities. Your input helped identify real-life needs, gaps, and opportunities to create supports that make it easier for older adults to stay active and well.
The survey was short, confidential, and takes about 10–15 minutes to complete. It asked participants to reflect on how physical activity information is currently shared, what makes it easier to find programs, and what barriers or unmet needs may still exist. Every response added valuable insight into how we can improve access, especially for those who may face challenges because of location, mobility, technology, or limited program options.
If you participated, thank you! Your experience matters, and your participation will directly inform the next steps of this provincial project.
The survey is now closed, and we will post the results once we receive them.
