Heart to Home Meals started in Canada in 2007 under a different name. Today, it has 20 outlets across Canada. Victoria saw the 17th open, and it has been in operation since 2022.

Heart to Home Meals delivers nutritious inexpensive frozen meals to seniors on Vancouver Island.

“They’re very simple to heat, just a few minutes in the microwave* or about 30 minutes in the oven and presto! a great meal for around $10 on average. We also carry smaller meals and larger meals for varying appetites as well as soups, breakfasts and desserts!” says Franchise owner Scott Downton.

Heart to Home meals are made fresh in Ottawa by Michelin star chef Marc Miron who, working with his two partners Tim And Andrea, multiply Marc’s creations and ensure they are nutritionally sound. Andrea is a dietician who makes sure meals are nutritious with easy to source ingredients for their menu book or online.

“We also deal with DVA so our veterans get a significant discount on the meals in most cases,” says Scott.

Heart to Home Meals is more than a delivery service. They believe in making lasting relationships with their customers.
“If you’ve ever called our office or had our meals delivered you’ll find our staff to be very friendly and helpful, only wanting what’s best for you,” says Scott.
