Community Resource Guide
Our online community resource guide offers numerous benefits, fostering connection, accessibility, and support for seniors and their families.
It provides centralized, easily accessible information about local services, programs, and organizations, empowering individuals to find help quickly. These guides encourage collaboration by bridging gaps between community members and service providers.
We update it continuously to ensure it is as relevance and accurate as possible. We rely on you to help us in this endeavor. If you see an inaccuracy, or if something is missing, please do let us know.
We also annually publish printed Senior Directories for Vancouver Island communities. Click on the banner ads below to open the PDF versions.

Choice in Support for Independent Living (CSIL)
Choice in Support for Independent Living (CSIL)
Choice in Supports for Independent Living (CSIL) is an alternative for eligible home support clients. CSIL was developed to give British Columbians with daily personal care needs more flexibility in managing their home support services.
CSIL is a “self-managed model of care”. Clients receive funds directly for the purchase of home support services. They assume full responsibility for the management, co-ordination and financial accountability of their services, including recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling and supervising home support workers.
