Vancouver Island, like many parts of Canada, is facing a shortage of family doctors.

he Nanaimo International Jazz Festival is proud to announce that ithas been awarded the “Best Festival” award at this year’s Connect Conferencehosted by the BC Touring Council.  The festival was nominated for the awardalongside other major festivals in the province.

Often getting out to a clinic is half the battle when you are recovering from a surgery or an illness or if you need assistance with your balance, regaining your strength, or to get rid of an ailing pain.
