Wendy’s Profile

A Certified Community Mental Health Worker, Wendy Richardson combines a wealth of experience and passion for helping people.

With 24 years of being a Medical Office Assistant and having other medical experiences Wendy decided it was time to venture out, into a slightly different direction of caring for people and their families. In 2009 she went to Camosun College and later on that same year started her own business, “Wendy’s Support Services,” Companion for all ages.

Wendy works to support, give hope and promote life skills for those facing mental stresses, and health challenges right through to loneliness. She feels that the families need help as well. It’s always tough giving enough time required in making a loved ones day happy and well balanced. Creating well-being and stress relief comes from friendships and people willing to listen. Wendy does this plus she gives ideas and is creative on how to make things work in a positive way. She says, “I spend time finding out what each individual enjoys, then I work towards having fun, laughter and making each visit a true sense of enjoyment.”
