Hours: Tuesday – Sunday, 11:00 am – 9:00 pm

Our restaurant is named for the Lemongrass/citronella plant, named Takrai in Thai. This grass-like plant with a strong aroma and flavour of lemon is used extensively in Thai cooking. The white, lower parts of the leaves, chopped or pounded, are used in a variety of dishes. The upper, green parts of the leaves are not used. Lemongrass is often available in packets in Asian supermarkets and health food stores.

Chef Rose has many years experience in Canada and Thailand preparing and teaching Thai cuisine.

We strive to always use the best and freshest ingredients available and will be constantly seeking new sources to that end. Our menu will be a work in progress as we develop new ideas and menu items. All our seafood is purchased from a local Vancouver Island seafood company.

We would very much like to hear any comments or questions that you may have on items you would like to see added to the menu. And please let your server know of any allergies or concerns you may have. We have many items without wheat or dairy, as well as lots of vegetarian choices.
